Thriving Families Network
Marin County is a beautiful place to live. Its proximity to San Francisco and the constant presence of nature makes of this place a paradise. Living here is not that simple. It is expensive. Poverty is also present in this paradise. Many families have been struggling for generations to make it in Marin County and many of them just give up and have to move to other counties, leaving behind family, friends, etc.
For those who persevere and stay life is not easy. Thriving Families Network is a group of people from many non-profit organizations (13) that believe there is a way out of poverty for these families.
Arana Consulting will be working with these organizations to coordinate and support their efforts to begin to eradicate the enduring power of cyclical poverty.
We will organize, facilitate and keep track of the progress for meetings, Advisory Committees, workshops, conferences, etc. Arana Consulting will manage the communication among the organizations, conduct focus groups and site visits to assess the needs of the participant organizations.
Arana Consulting will work closely with Celia Graterol Consulting in order to insure a data collection that will reflect the progress of the network in all the collaborative areas.
